Our Business
Floofs & Hoofs office hours are Mon - Fri 8:30 - 18:00, Sat 9:00 - 12:00.
Service hours are also within these times unless otherwise agreed with Floofs & Hoofs. Some services are only available in reduced daylight hours in winter months.
Bespoke and emergency bookings outside of these hours are subject to additional fees.
We can travel up to 10 miles out of our main base, Louth, Lincolnshire.
Bookings over 2 miles out of Louth incur a fee of 50p/mile to cover fuel and time.
We are open on bank holidays!
Bookings on bank holidays are charged 1.5 x the standard rate.
Bookings between 21st December to 3rd January are double the standard rate.
Payment is due on the day or within 7 days of your booked service.
Weekly or monthly payment plans can be arranged with Floofs & Hoofs for regular bookings. Payments are accepted in cash, cheque or BACS.
What We Do
Floofs & Hoofs is a pet care business based in Louth, Lincolnshire with a small team of qualified and experienced animal handlers providing bookings for dog walking, home visits, pet grooming, and more.
We communicate with our clients using WhatsApp end-to-end encrypted group chats so your Floofs & Hoofs team can keep you up to date with your pet's activities in our care. We take photos and videos of our time with them so you can see what they've been up to and you can see they are safe and well looked after.
We are qualified and fully insured to provide a range of animal care services and have experience in basic training and handling for dogs, equines and other species, but we cannot assist with specific behavioural disorders or veterinary referrals.

In the Community
Floofs & Hoofs cares about its clients, their pets and the environment we work in. We aim to provide a caring human touch with our service and business endeavours. We use biodegradable doggy bags, non-toxic animal safe disinfectants, and sensitive skin friendly shampoos when grooming.
We also go out to help those in the community - human and animal. We have helped in wildlife rescues, including caring for and releasing an injured sparrow hawk, helped owners find temporary or permanent homes for their animals when they can't manage due to ill health or an unfortunate turn of events in their life, and we have helped fundraise for and sponsor charities and appeals including Cuddles Cat Rescue in Grimsby, Mind UK, the Ukraine pet crisis appeal, and Guide Dogs UK, and we only hope to do more!
Service Disclaimer
Our socialising option for dogs on walks is part of offering dogs one of their five freedoms as stated in the Animal Welfare Act (2006): "Freedom to express normal behaviour: Animals should have enough space, proper facilities and the company of other animals of their own kind."
Owners can confirm whether they would or would not like their dogs socialising while using our care services on their registration form during their consultation and have the right to change their decision at any time.
Every dog has their own personality and we don't expect every dog to get on with each other, just like we don't as humans, so we offer this option offering the knowledge that we will take every precaution to ensure all dogs present are comfortable, and if any dog is distressed by the interaction, we will review and adjust our service, including refraining from socialising during your required services if necessary.
